REFUND POLICY

Bengal Club of Atlantic City (“Bengal Club,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a nonprofit community organization. This Refund Policy explains how refunds are handled for donations, membership fees (if applicable), and event-related payments.
1) Donations
Donations are generally non-refundable because they directly support our community programs and operating costs.
Exception: If a donation was made in error (wrong amount, duplicate transaction, or unauthorized transaction), you may request a review.
2) Duplicate or Incorrect Payments
If you accidentally donate twice or enter an incorrect amount, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review and, if appropriate, process a refund or adjust records.
3) Event Fees (If Applicable)
If an event has a registration fee:
• Cancellation by Bengal Club: Full refund will be issued.
• Cancellation by Attendee: Refund eligibility depends on event costs already committed. If refunds are offered, we will state the deadline on the event page or event flyer.
4) Membership Fees (If Applicable)
Membership fees, if collected, are generally non-refundable once processed and recorded. If a payment was made in error or duplicated, we will review it under Section 2.
5) How Refunds Are Issued
Refunds (when approved) are typically issued back to the original payment method when possible.
For Zelle, refunds may require confirmation of the sender details and may be returned via Zelle or another method agreed upon during review.
6) How to Request a Refund Review
Email us with the following:
• Full name
• Date of payment
• Amount
• Payment method (Zelle, etc.)
• Reason for the request
• Any proof (screenshot/confirmation)
7) Processing Time
Approved refunds are usually processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment method and bank processing times.
